This Sunday
For we walk by faith, and not by sight ~ 2 Corinthians 5:7
Sounds nice right? But what does it REALLY look like to walk by faith?
This week we’ll share some stories - both Biblical and personal - that show us how to navigate trials so we can be known as people who walk by faith and not by sight.
VBS
VBS is right around the corner!
If your child is registered for VBS, you may pick up their packets this Sunday!
There's a lot of important information in there, so please read through everything!
VBS Needs
Pop Up Tents
If you have a pop up tent that we can borrow for the week, please let Miss Andrea know!
Hospitality Snacks
We have over 160 volunteers serving at VBS this year! If you weren’t able to serve but want to contribute in a different way - you can donate snacks for these volunteers!
Snack ideas: Cookies, brownies, protein bars, pigs in a blanket, cut up fruit, chips (individual serving) and drinks/mini water bottles. Homemade or store bought!
If you’re able to donate any snacks or treats, please contact Billie Gill to see what day and time would be the best for you to bring them by!
Christmas in July — Outreach Event
Saturday, July 18 | 8am-1pm
This summer, we have a special opportunity to bring hope, joy, and encouragement to a group of young women who are walking through some incredibly difficult seasons of life.
We're partnering with New Life Children's Center to create a fun and meaningful "Christmas in July" experience filled with games, treats, worship, encouragement, and relationship-building. This is more than just a serve day — it’s an opportunity to reflect the love of Jesus in a tangible and personal way.
Whether you enjoy hospitality, serving behind the scenes, encouraging others, or simply showing up with a willing heart, there's a place for you and your family to be part of this impactful day!
Volunteer Training & Prep Days
To help us create a safe, organized, and meaningful experience for the girls at New Life Children’s Center, all volunteers are asked to attend two trainings before the event. These gatherings will help prepare our teams, organize supplies and stations, walk through the event schedule, and ensure everyone feels confident and ready for the day.
Training Dates:
June 14
June 28
(Both in the sanctuary following the 11am service)
Additional Project Needs
Prior to July 18th, we plan to rebuild a staircase to restore access to one of the buildings on the property & replace some tile flooring inside that same building — with the hopes we can use this building for July 18th. If you're skilled in these areas or have tools to make these jobs easier - there's a place to sign up for this!
And if you just LOVE mowing the lawn, there is a constant need for volunteers to help with yard work and riverfront cleanup. They have the equipment - they just need willing people. Let Ryan know if you want to mow!
These practical projects play a huge role in helping New Life continue creating a safe, welcoming, and functional environment for the girls they serve.
If you would like to help fund part of this project or learn more about the specific needs, please email Ryan.

30s & 40S Axe-Mania
Friday, June 19 | 6:00pm
Come fellowship with us hang out and throw some axes. It comes with food and good company. Bring sides and drinks and we'll provide the mains!
No axe-throwing experience needed - just bring yourself and be ready for an unforgettable night of fun, food, and connection!
(Childcare available and meal provided!)
Baptisms at Home Church
Our next Baptism Sunday will be June 21st! If you would like to be baptized or if you would just like some more information about baptism and what it means, please call or email Dahlia and we will get you scheduled to meet with one of our Pastors!
Moedim
New Group Starting June 21st
The purpose of the Moedim group is to encourage the believer in Christ to learn more about the Seven Feasts of the Lord (Leviticus 23) and their significance as they reveal God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. These feasts are times appointed by God where His people connect with Him in worship.
During the first class, starting on Sunday June 21, we will begin with an overview of the Spring Feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost) and will be given with a quick presentation of the Passover Seder table.
ASL Classes - Starting June 23rd!
We are offering two levels of ASL (American Sign Language) informal classes for 8 weeks for anyone who wants to learn sign language:
- Foundations (Beginner ASL) for those who have a little bit of or no knowledge of ASL.
- Next Steps (Intermediate ASL) for those who know the basics (ABC's, numbers, simple words, etc) and want to learn more as well become a bit more fluent in ASL.
Each class will build on the next, so you must join by June 23rd!
**Please email Trish to let her know which class you're planning to attend:
Foundations or Next Steps.
Grief Share
Monday Evenings & Thursday Afternoons
Starting June 22nd & 25th
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
