This Sunday
This week we'll look at another important aspect of Worship: TEMPLE. When we hear that word, some of us may immediately think of a Buddhist temple in China, or a Hindu mandir in India. But the idea of temple is profoundly biblical. We'll begin with some biblical teaching on temples in the bible, and specifically some details about the tabernacle. (This tent in the wilderness where God chose to be WITH his people.)
That teaching will prepare us for an amazing time of worshipping God. Then, Pastor Joy will be leading us through worship, and showing us how we might shape the way WE can come to God in worship, based on the design of the tabernacle.
It's going to be interesting to talk and learn about temples and worship. It's going to be awesome to experience God WITH US in our worship.
But, it's no fun without you! So please try to be here, and don't forget:
IT'S SUPER IMPORTANT TO BE ON TIME!
Really important stuff is happening really early in the service, that may really impact how you experience worship in the 2nd half of the service.
To help people get into service by 9:00 or 11:00 (for this week only:-) we will offer parking, kids check in, coffee, donuts, bathrooms, and hanging out with friends for up to 15 minutes BEFORE service time!
To prepare for service - spend some time this week contemplating how amazing it is that God wants to be WITH US.
Then Sunday: Be there! Be on time! Sit a couple rows closer than you normally do! Come ready to worship!

SheWill - Women's Conference
Join us on Saturday, August 1 for SheWill, a one-day conference designed to encourage, equip, and strengthen women in every season of life.
This year's theme, Overcomer, explores four powerful biblical truths—Exalt, Endure, Edify, and Encourage—as we discover what it means to walk in the victory Christ has already won for us.
Enjoy heartfelt worship, biblical teaching, inspiring testimonies, meaningful prayer, and authentic community with women of all ages. Breakfast, lunch, and dessert are included! So invite your daughter, your mom, or a friend and experience the day together!
Come expectant. Leave encouraged, refreshed, and reminded that you're not walking this journey alone.

Did you know that Home Church has a Spanish-speaking Group? This weekly gathering is a place for people to grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and worship together in Spanish!

50&UP Summer Camp
August 21 | 6PM
Join us for an evening packed with exciting games, friendly competition and fellowship. There will be door prizes, delicious food and plenty of laughter!
We will be serving classic summer favorites including hot dogs, sloppy joes, and a variety of tasty side dishes. After dinner, gather around the campfire for fireside sing-alongside and s'mores, sharing memories, music and good company!

Giving on the Church App
You can give on the church app! From the home page, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you’ll see an image like the one above. Click the image and follow the steps below to set up a one time or recurring donation:
1. Add the amount you would like to donate (then click “next”).
2. Choose which fund you’d like to give to.
3. Select how often - One Time, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
- If you choose to give on a regular basis, you’ll be able to pick the day/dates the recurring donation is made.
4. Add a payment method.
5. You can see the processing fee and choose if you want to cover it or not.
- If you choose to cover the fee, you will be credited on year-end statements.
Important info
If you would would like MORE of your money going toward Home Church and the missions we support, and LESS towards fees - Here’s some info that will help:
When selecting a payment method…
A debit or credit card - it will be $0.30 plus 2.15% of the donation.
However, if you choose to add your bank account, the fee is only $0.30 - regardless of the amount you donate.
